New Faith and Life Third Edition!
The Faith and Life Revised Edition series is being updated to reflect both the new Roman Missal and the RSV 2nd CE translation of the Bible. The updated series will be called Faith and Life Third Edition and have a new 2011 copyright. Student Texts and Activity Books for all 8 grades of the Faith and Life Third Edition will be available before April 2011. The Faith and Life Third Edition will replace the Faith and Life Revised Edition series.
Teachers manuals of the Third Edition series for Grade 2 and Grade 5 will be available before July 2011 while the other grades are not anticipated to be available before 2012. Teachers may continue to use the current Revised Edition Teacher's Manuals as the impact of the new Roman Missal on the Student Texts is very minor. As an aid to teachers using Revised Edition Teacher's Manuals with new Third Edition Student Textbooks and Activity books, we have created special guides for teachers listing the minor changes by grade and chapter as well as by the parts of the Mass. These files are free to download and copy and are available directly below:

Quiz and Unit Test Packets
These quiz and unit test packets are now password protected. The password has been emailed to the school or parish. Please contact the school/parish office to obtain the password.
These quiz and unit tests have been inserted into the newly revised Teacher's Manual (revised late 2009 or 2010) and are different from the quizzes and unit tests printed in earlier versions of the Teacher's Manual. These packets can be used as an alternate set of quizzes and tests for those using earlier versions of the teacher's manual. Please refer to the copyright page of the TM; all revised TMs have a revision date of either 2009 or 2010 on the copyright page and are spiral bound. Click on the links below to download.

Audio-Visual Resource Correlations
The Revised Faith and Life Series Teacher's Manuals contain references to audio-visual resources that will complement the lesson. Since audio-visual resources change (new ones become available, older ones sometimes are no longer available), we are in the process of developing new resource correlations for each grade with more audio-visual aids for DREs and catechists. These audio-visual resource lists will be posted online and updated throughout the year. To recommend an audio-visual resource for a Faith and Life lesson, please email them to: faithandlife@ignatius.com. Lists of Changes in Individual Texts
Improving a textbook series is a continual process. While each year does not bring major revisions, we may make minor improvements to individual books in any given year. We will be posting here a summary of the changes made in each book from year to year in the Faith and Life series. These documents are listed so that teachers, catechists and DREs may be aware of the changes and the possibility that students within the classroom may have slightly varying texts if some of the books were purchased in different years.
Please refer to the copyright page of the book for printing information. If your book does not have the reprint year on the copyright page, it was printed before any of the changes on these lists were made.

Spanish Translations of Unrevised Student Texts:
The Revised Faith and Life Series does not exist in a Spanish Edition. Spanish translations of the unrevised student textbook (dating back to 2004) for grades 1-5 are provided below and only exist in this electronic format. We are sorry we do not have a complete Spanish Edition available. We provide these translations of the unrevised edition of the student textbooks for the use of whoever may find them helpful. Some schools and parishes use them as take home handouts for the parents of students in their catechetical programs.
