–Thomas Howard, Autor de Evangelical Is Not Enough

English Translation:

David Currie was raised in a devout Christian family whose father was a fundamentalist preacher and both parents teachers at Moody Bible Institute. Currie's whole upbringing was immersed in the life of fundamentalist Protestantism...theology professors, seminary presidents, and founders of evangelical mission agencies were frequent guests at his family dinner table. Currie received a degree from Trinity International University and studied in the Masters of Divinity program.

This book was written as an explanation to his fundamentalist and evangelical friends and family about why he became Catholic. Currie presents a very lucid, systematic, and intelligible account of the reasons for his conversion to the ancient Church that Christ founded. He gives a detailed discussion of the important theological and doctrinal beliefs Catholics and evangelicals hold in common, as well as the key doctrines that separate us, particularly the Eucharist, the Pope, and Mary.

3-Book Bundle: Crossing the Tiber, Catholicism, and Meet Your Mother

For a limited time only, get this special bundle of three popular books for only $10 (over 60% off the retail price)!

About the Books:

Crossing the Tiber is an exhilarating conversion story of a devout Baptist who relates how he overcame his hostility to the Catholic Church by serious Bible study and vast research into the writings of the early Church Fathers.

Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith complements the beloved DVD series and study program of the same name by Bishop Robert Barron. The book is based on the scripts for the series, but delves more deeply into the content, including more than 100 photos of the art used in the documentary.

Meet Your Mother explores the critical question of why Catholics pay so much attention to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. This easy-read pocket book on Mary covers all the major teachings about the Mother of Jesus, but is particularly written for the person who has little or no background knowledge about her.

Order your $10 bundle now while supplies last and share these inspiring titles with your family and friends!

I sent "Crossing the Tiber" to my brother who was away from the church (married outside the church) for many years. He came back to the church, I witnessed their marriage at Sunday Mass, and he is now a catechist and his wife is a Eucharistic minister and Lector. Deacon Joe - Cumming, GA

The Case for Jesus: The Biblical and Historical Evidence for Christ

The Case for Jesus: The Biblical and Historical Evidence for Christ

Dr. Brant Pitre, scripture scholar and bestselling author, uses biblical and historical evidence to bolster the “case for Jesus” by exposing the problems with the many false theories that have been introduced over the past hundred years resulting in widespread skepticism about the reliability of Christian faith. He tackles head-on questions like: Were the four Gospels written anonymously? Did Jesus claim to be God? Did Jesus fulfill the Jewish prophecies of the Messiah? and many more.

I found the facts about the Gospel authors fascinating. This helped me understand the historicity of the person of Jesus Christ. Mary - Dayton, OH

The Treasure of Our Soul: The Apostles’ Creed

The Treasure of Our Soul: The Apostles’ Creed

Dr. Scott Hahn, internationally known theologian and author, explains the inestimable value of the Creed as a sure means of communicating the life-giving faith of the Apostles and as an indispensable source of unity for the Church. Dr. Hahn also brings to light how the Creed has served as a time-tested wellspring of meditation by which a believer can deepen his or her relationship with Christ, making it, in the words of St. Ambrose, “the treasure of our soul.”

This talk really encouraged me to ponder the richness?of?our Faith. I also discovered a great Marian truth that I will always be thankful for! Daniel - Vancouver, BC
