Fr. Angels Explained: What You Should Know About the Nine Choirs

Angels Explained: What You Should Know About the Nine Choirs

Dr. Mark Miravalle - Professor of Theology and Mariology at Franciscan University of Steubenville - teaches on the fascinating subject of Angels. Why did God create angels? How are they different from humans? Are guardian angels found in Scripture? Discover the answer to these questions and many more as Dr. Mark Miravalle explains the nine choirs of angels, their differing roles and hierarchical order, and how much angels can help us if we only ask.

I liked the very concise & detailed explanation of how the angel studies were done by the Church, the history of the angels, all the different types of angels & their duties (good & bad), the hierarchies, tying info to scripture & tradition, the importance of talking/praying to our guardian angel daily, invoking the angels, going to Adoration, etc. Everyone likes angels, but I didn't realize there was so much info, & how to join the good side to fight the fallen angels! MOIRA - HOUSTON, TX

Fantastic insight into better parenting attitudes and guidelines! It is great to listen to over and over again. Cecilia - Merrick, NY
Very useful ideas that can help a family to reduce conflict, raise responsible children, and maintain a Catholic home environment. John - Augusta, MI
This talk changed the course of our parenting! Every parent needs to hear this talk and be reminded that the culture tries to take authority away from parents. We have the right and responsibility to lovingly discipline our children, so that they grow to be respectable adults. EXCELLENT TALK!!! Zanesville, OH
Enjoyed the whole talk. Diane - Fort Wayne, IN
It gave me the strength to use backbone in disciplining my six-year-old daughter. Allison - Edmonds, WA
I am a mother of three beautiful, healthy but mischievous kids, and it opened my eyes. It is NOT their fault... it is mine. I learned so much, and now I want to learn more. Angela - Brandon, FL
It was exactly what I needed to hear in the moment I needed to hear it! Confirmation as if from God Himself!! Jeannette - Tampa, FL
As a parent of five, I have never thought of opening myself up to show my vulnerability to the world of sin. My teenage son is now asking questions and speaking more to my husband and me since we told him about some of our mistakes. Thank so much, and may God bless you all for everything you are doing. Desiree - Alhambra, CA
I loved that the speaker helped to give power back to the parents to raise their kids - the power that so many "professionals" have taken away from us. I am glad he pointed out that if you want to parent the Christian way, you will have to be prepared to be in the minority. It is something I know, but it was good to have reassurance that I can stand alone because I am doing it for the good of my children and out of faithfulness to God. Elizabeth - Gouldsboro, PA
The "correct" answers to parents' questions and the practical advice. Ken - Kirkland, WA
It made me feel like I wasn't doing everything all wrong when it comes to raising my kids. Heather - Spearfish, SD
I LOVED everything about it!!! Dr. Ray is amazing, and this talk is especially good! I shared it with many other families. Thanks for always having such great and relevant CDs to choose from! Renee - MI
Dr. Ray is a fantastic speaker; his insights are a must for any Catholic parent. His wisdom and ideas would help any parent to raise good, responsible children. Rhonda - Pocomoke, MD
Straightforward common sense approach to parenting. That is pretty much the way I and my 11 siblings were raised. No means NO, not maybe or I'll give in anyway. Joan - Grand Island, NE
The speaker was fantastic! He made me realize that raising children (or grandchildren) requires discipline, as well as love. He is correct. If we don't discipline, someone else will. I want to be the one to discipline with love and not have my grandchildren be disciplined by someone who just wants correct behavior but doesn't love them. I can discipline and require correct behavior while letting them know I love them and that they always have someone to go to who will be honest and loving with them. Julie - Allentown, PA
I enjoyed everything about it. It was very well put and educational. Angelica - Stockton, CA
The speaker's frankness and courage in speaking the truth about the seriousness of raising good, moral children. The speaker's sense of humor is an extra goodness. The little amount of time that he took describing a few of his children's biological parents and their physicians' contributions to lies told in this world, are wonderful proof that he and his wife love and nurture well these special gifts from God. Sharon - Houston, TX
This was a fantastic, funny, and comforting way to hear that it is okay to discipline your child(ren) and know that you can do it. Would highly recommend this. Tracey - Prince Frederick, MD
Witty delivery made it enjoyable to listen to. Expert speaker made it possible to challenge cultural norms. John - Annandale, NJ
This is an excellent CD. Pretty much anything on parenting by Dr. Ray is fantastic. Vince-Middleburg, FL
This is one of the BEST talks/lessons I have heard for parenting. It is a great tool for real parenting. Love it! Eva-Chicago, IL
His speaking style was pleasant and colloquial and his personal stories were interesting, relevant and relate-able (if I can make up a word for a moment). Anthony - ashburn, VA
Knowing the following: I may be percieved as an overbearing parent and that is OK. Importance of calm consistency. Mark - Roseville, MN
I enjoyed everything Dr. Ray discussed. The part that ministered to me the most was when he talked about strong-willed kids and said behind every kid is a strong willed mom but she loses her will and then the child fills the void. Powerful!! gettysburg, PA
I like the fact to get examples of behaviors. And was honest Nikki - Trafford, PA
