Presence: Biblical Foundations of the Eucharist

Dr. Tim Gray

This is the January CDOM. The MP3 is available now, and the CD will be available on February 1, 2022.

“How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” These words uttered 2,000 years ago are echoed today.

Join us as Dr. Tim Gray examines a few objections to the Church’s Eucharistic teaching and provides scriptural evidence for these objections. This apologetic helps us to give a reason for our faith and to gain a deeper insight into what it means to be Catholic and experience the true presence of God in the Eucharist.

Were the Gospels Anonymous

Were the Gospels Anonymous

Were the gospels really written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John or are the authors anonymous? Did the stories come to us through some sort of “telephone game” or by way of eye witnesses? It is vital to address the debate over anonymous gospels. If we don’t know who wrote the gospels, then how reliable are the stories written about Jesus? Can we look at the gospels as legitimate historical sources for the life, the death and the resurrection of Jesus?

Abraham: Revealing the Historical Roots of our Faith

These are rooted not only in the early Church, but 2000 years before that, in Abraham. With his infectious enthusiasm, Stephen helps us to learn the deep truths of scripture that God taught through Abraham.

How to Love Yourself

How to Love Yourself

The words that we speak to ourselves shape our self-perception; how we see ourselves, and how we act. Despite being told perhaps more than any other generation to love and believe in themselves, this generation struggles more than any other with anxiety, self-loathing, and low self-esteem. In this talk, speaker and author Chris Stefanick tackles the lies which hold us captive to these struggles, and boldly shares the Good News of Jesus Christ—that Love Himself has come to redeem us, and destined us for eternal glory.
