So Help Me God

Dr. Scott Hahn

In this dynamic talk Dr. Scott Hahn explains the importance of oaths, which invoke God’s name and implore His assistance. He shows that oaths are also the means of transforming our personal relationship with Christ into a covenant relationship. Dr. Hahn then explains what led him to move from believing in only two Sacraments to all seven. In sharing these insights, he connects oaths to the seven Sacraments and unveils their mystery and importance. He reveals that the Sacraments are the ordinary means by which God empowers us to do His will. You'll discover that the Sacraments don’t make holiness easy, but they do make it possible.

I knew the Sacraments were powerful, but had no idea about the oaths behind them. This talk changed the way I say 'amen' every time I receive the Eucharist! Denise - New York, NY
In a powerful way, Dr. Hahn reminded me of the importance of the Sacraments and how they help us to become saints. Edward - Phoenix, AZ
I will never see the Sacraments the same way again! Elizabeth - Orland, FL
My understanding of the sacraments was that they were visible signs of God's grace but I did not know that they were oaths binding us to God's plan of life for us. This gave me a new insight and better comprehension of their value and our responsibility to the mystical Body of Christ when we integrate them in our lives. Maria - Round Rock, TX
I liked how the speaker used a Biblical foundation to emphasize the importance of the seven sacraments. I also liked how the speaker spoke to some common objections to the sacraments, and how he shows the true holiness and spirituality that exist in the sacraments all the while showing Biblical evidence for his position. Ryan - Colby, KS
I enjoyed everything....I am always learning when I listen to these talks. I become more aware of God's love for us and what he wants for us. Aleida - Hillsborough, NJ
Any CD done by Dr. Scott Hahn if really informational, educational, inspirational, and life changing. I have all the CDs that you have for sale by him and hope to see more in the future. Diane - Greene, ME
I thought the talk was very engaging and informative. A good balance of entertaining humor and relevant solid teaching. Earl - Midland, PA
I liked how Dr Hahn described our relationship with God as a covenant bond not a personal relationship. A personal relationship is good but not enough. We must go deeper in our relationship with God. Also I liked how he spoke on why we have 7 sacraments. Frank - Dallas, TX
The passion that is whelled up in Hahn is so contagious. Converts do truly make amazing Catholics, as they jolt and stir cradle Catholics into a full, conscious and fortified faith. Scott Hahn is so on fire for, is so in love with Scripture. His talks are a breath of fresh and crisp morning air to wake us up from acquiescence and hum drum slothfulness. Lisa - Quesnel, BC
I am participating in RCIA program in our church and I am preparing to be baptized this Eater. This CD was a great description about my duties after receiving the first Sacrament and responsibility I have to accept by second and third sacrament. It was also great explain that why God is punishing me so badly in my current life. I listen to it very carefully for two times and I will suggest it to other people in our RCIA group. Thank you, Atousa Atousa - Maple Ridge, BC
