Referencing Luther’s writings and his own conversion story, Ken clearly shows the theological and practical flaws of sola Scriptura and other teachings promulgated by the sixteenth-century reformers. This talk gave me the tools to engage our Protestant brothers and sisters, appreciating their good points but at the same time gently letting them discover the untenableness of their position. Daniel - Vancouver, BC
Very thought-provoking! Julie - Hilton Head, SC
I gained a great deal of knowledge and understanding about Protestantism, something I thought I knew enough about. Theresa - Ridge, NY
Very interesting from beginning to end. Sandra - Weston, WV
I appreciate the fact that Ken Hensley, who was a Protestant pastor, reveals the shaky ground of Protestant thought. He reveals this from the history of Luther and his own personal experience. I say this as a former Protestant Christian myself, who almost ended up in theological despair because of the endless debates about what is true and what isn't among different Protestants. Thanks for the grace and mercy of God, I was received into the Church in 2016 after 5 or 6 years of being a Protestant. There are many good people and even good things (like a love for Scripture) in Protestantism, but it ultimately can't stand. Neil - Plano, TX

WOW! Luther comes alive. So much detail. So inspiring. Norm - Biloxi, MS
Excellent talk by Ken Hensley. One will gain much knowledge through this talk on Luther, what he was trying to do and where he ended. Idell - Grand Rapids, MI
By far, the most simple and clearest explanation of the Reformation. Dan - Deering, NH
I learned many new things about Martin Luther and Protestantism that will help me in defending my Catholic faith with my fallen-away family members. Christine - Amherst, NY
Father is very engaging in his talk, I thought this was going to be too theological for me to handle. A great learning experience about how Protestantism started. NM
A fascinating look at what drove Luther and where he went wrong. Ken Hensley provides a clear and compelling explanation of why authority in the Church is an absolute necessity and why private interpretation of Scripture (i.e. Protestantism) can only lead to confusion and fractured congregations. Jane - Kansas City, MO
This talk was very instrumental for me as I've been on my journey back to the Catholic Church. The first time I heard it, many things made sense because as a Protestant, I just accepted the Protestant 'narrative' of history because my focus was primarily on the Bible. There were many things that contributed to the Protestant Reformation and in my search for the fullness of truth, I've come to love our Church History because within it exists God's everlasting love and grace for us. He has never left us orphans but desires that we be completely one with Him and His Church in every way. Kim - Huntington Beach, CA
The speaker was very informative and made it relatable. The topic was excellent for spiritual growth and provided insight on the roots of Protestantism from a theological and historical standpoint. Crispin - Whittier, CA
