Angels Explained: What You Should Know About the Nine Choirs

Dr. Mark Miravalle - Professor of Theology and Mariology at Franciscan University of Steubenville - teaches on the fascinating subject of Angels. Why did God create angels? How are they different from humans? Are guardian angels found in Scripture? Discover the answer to these questions and many more as Dr. Mark Miravalle explains the nine choirs of angels, their differing roles and hierarchical order, and how much angels can help us if we only ask.

I liked the very concise & detailed explanation of how the angel studies were done by the Church, the history of the angels, all the different types of angels & their duties (good & bad), the hierarchies, tying info to scripture & tradition, the importance of talking/praying to our guardian angel daily, invoking the angels, going to Adoration, etc. Everyone likes angels, but I didn't realize there was so much info, & how to join the good side to fight the fallen angels! Very informative. Explained the Churches position very well. Diane - Lakewood, OH
It really informed me to make a better decision in this election. I tell everybody to vote for St. Micheal for President. Emil R. - Cleveland, OH
Your form does not say how to score. I am assuming 10 is best. I will probably use it to pass around to others. I especially liked the advice at the end for various scenarios of considering voting according to a catholic formed conscience which may go against family tradition or union pressures. And I like that it encourages people to pursue getting more involved if no candidates fit the bill so we have better choices in the future. Debora - Independence, OR
When I heard the words "don't vote a particular party or a person, but vote Catholic", it really resonated with me. I've voted many times haphazardly in the past, but from this point forward I will vote by my conscience for what is right and just and from a Catholic viewpoint. Elizabeth - El Segundo, CA
This is what I have been looking for. A clear, concise explanation of morality as opposed to "every one does it." I think this should be presented to all congregations. Perhaps one item at a time. Maybe we will not have so many Catholics in public office undermining the morals of our children. Some of our Bishops and Priests may come back to God's side. Just think,in 10 weeks we could have a more informed electorate just in time for the election.. Peg - Valrico, FL
I suppose the fact that coming from Ireland now that there have been lot of big issues that are concerning for faithful Catholics that the guide allows us to get a better understanding of what to do in this tough political climate. It's been very informative for me Mark
